  2. What a pretty picture looking up through the tree. That frost was really coating everything wasn't it?
    Happy 2010 to you Rebecca!

  3. Hi Bangchik, Happy New Year to you too. The frost/snow is very quiet, it muffles the sound very effectively, so serene is a good description.

Hi Lona, There *is* frost everywhere, it's so very pretty. I took dozens of pictures but the rest just don't show it well. Happy 2010 to you too! :)

  5. Very pretty! It's lovely with the white bark of the birch.

I always think there is something so magical about hoar frost - love it.

  7. Hi Deborah, Thanks!

Hi Catherine, it was remarkably heavy. I had been all over the yard, trying to get a nice picture, and then ventured under the tree, I'm glad I did!

Hi Ms S, I didn't realize it was called 'hoar frost', but it is beautiful.

Hi vrtlarica, it was fairly cold (-15C). But I think it has a lot to do with air humidity. I'm glad you like the photo.

Hi Anna, it's even more brrrr today, so I'm staying in. Thanks for the lovely compliment! :)
