Thanks Catherine! I really like the last picture too, I just ordered an enlargement. Also, we've painted all the other sides of the shed antique blue (probably inspired by yours?), but had to wait for the perennials to finish to do the last side. :)
Hi Rebecca. Your clematis looks so pretty growing up onto the Sun face.I love the picture of the coneflowers against the white hydrangea and lily blooms. So lovely.
Oh my Rebecca...this is a magical post...love it all..and love that first photo of the sun and flowers adorning it..it is like a flower poem!!beautiful blooms!
Also..I have been wanting to do another one of your "rainbow gardeners" posts for this year.....so hope you don't mind..I will link it to you if thats's ok..let me know! It was so fun last year...we must do it again! Happy gardening Victoria
Rebecca girl that garden art sun is gorgeous and having the clematis run through it is wonderful : ) The coneflowers and lilies with hydrangea are so beautiful all together like that .. it is hard to believe this is September eh ? I got a jump on the bulbs that I needed to finish my circle with .. heaven knows when I will plant them !! eeekkk ! LOL Joy
Hi Lona, Thanks for stopping by, although it is getting late in the season, there is still some beauty to be found here and there. :)
Welcome Catharine, I agree 100%.
Hi Diane, Thanks! I hope you have a great long weekend too!
Hey Kiki, 'Flower Poem', love it! Of course you can do a rainbow challenge, it would be lots of fun. Can't wait to see all the pics, and put one together myself. :)
Hi Joy, I was pleasantly surprised when my clematis grew over the top of the trellis and up the sun, when I saw all of the buds I was so excited for them to bloom. They didn't disappoint! Happy planting. :)
Hi Rebecca, I have several sun medallions myself. I don't know what it is about them that I like. A smiling sun is just such a happy motif and it is even nicer in the company of pretty blooms.

The Clematis looks pretty growing around the sun. The last picture is really pretty, love the colors together.

Pretty flowers for WW! I love the Clematis twirling around the sun.
ReplyDeleteAll so pretty, however, I do really love the last pic. I think somehow it just looks so cheerful. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca! Some of my clematises didn't bloom this summer. Love yours. The first picture is especially lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat top shot is a great late summer image. I expect your bronze sunflower has never looked so attractive.
